Mt. Blue boys: 2024 Class A State ChampionsDay 2 of the 2024 MPA Class A Nordic State Championships were held today at Titcomb Mtn in Farmington with the 5K freestyle pursuit competition. In the girls freestyle, Nora McCourt is the 2024 Class A Freestyle State Champion. Her winning time was 14:06.3. Nora also won the classical on Monday. In second place was Maya Kellett of Mt. Blue with a time of 15:24.4. In third place was Nora Condit of Edward Little with a time of 15:30.0. In the boys freestyle, Henri McCourt of Mt. Blue is the 2024 Class A Freestyle State Champion. His winning time was 12:28.6. Henri also won the classical on Monday. In second place was George Ayer of Portland with a time of 12:45.3. In third place was Elias Bartlett of Mt. Blue with a time of 13:00.5. The Mt. Blue girls and boys are the 2024 Class A Nordic State Champions. The Falmouth girls and the Portland boys were runners-up. Also congratulations to the Mt. Blue girls and boys for receiving the MPA Nordic Sportsmanship Award. RESULTS
