10th Mountain Ski Center:

From the North – Canada
From Montreal or Quebec City, take Trans Canada Route 20 (south shore route) east toward Riviere du Loup. Take Exit #488, Route 289 at St. Alexandre. About seven miles after the border of Quebec Province and New Brunswick (past the town of Baker Lake) turn right at the intersection of Route 289 and Route 120 to Clair, NB. There you will pass through the Canadian & US customs and border crossing. Take US Route 1 for one mile and then merge onto Maine highway #11 for one mile. There is a Blue and Yellow Maine Winter Sports Center (MWSC) sign on the right, take a right onto Paradis Circle and another right onto the MWSC road. The venue is one mile.

From the South
From Bangor, take Interstate Route 95 North until you come to Exit #264, Sherman, Rroute 11. Follow Route 11 all the way to Fort Kent. The MWSC venue is located about one mile before the town of Fort Kent. There will be a large blue MWSC sign on your left. Take a left onto Paradis Circle and follow the signs onto the MWSC road. The venue is one mile.

From Presque Isle
Take route US Route 1 to Caribou. In Caribou take Route 161 to Fort Kent. In Fort Kent take Route 11 South for one mile. There is a large blue MWSC sign on the right, take a right onto Paradis Circle and another right onto the MWSC road. The venue is one mile.


Bethel Inn:

From the West, arriving to Bethel on Route 2, turn right at the Bethel exit. At the bottom of the ramp take an immediate right onto Church Street. Follow Church Street for less than a mile. The Inn is on your right after the Village Common.

From the South, on Route 26, follow signs to the historic district and cross the train tracks on to Main Street. Continue straight up Main Street to 4-way intersection at top of the hill, then turn left on Broad Street. The Inn is on your right, just beyond the Village Common.

 Camden Snow Bowl:


Traveling South on Rte 1, about 1 mile South of the center of town, take a right on John Street, between a Subway and McDuck's Convenience Store. In about 1/2 mile you will come to a 4-Way Stop - go straight. In about 0.1 miles you will come to another stop sign - continue left. In about another 0.2 miles, you will continue straight past Melvin Heights Road which splits to the right. This is Hosmer Pond Road, and it will bring you right by the Snow Bowl, which is located on the North End of Hosmer Pond, a little over 3 miles from Rte. 1. Look for small brown & white signs of a person on a chairlift at intersections along the way.

If traveling North on Rte.1 toward Camden, watch for the Subway just beyond the Graves Supermarket complex on the left, turn left on John St. and continue as above.

Getting to Camden Snow Bowl from Route 17 & Route 90
Getting to the Camden Snow Bowl from Route 17. When you come to the intersection of Routes 17 and 90 turn onto Route 90 East. After 1 mile you will come to the intersection of Route 90 and Meadow Street at a stop light. Turn left on Meadow. At the 4-way stop sign turn left on South Main St. South Main Street becomes Willey Rd. At the T-intersection turn left onto Hosmer Pond Road. Hosmer Pond Road brings you to a Y-intersection, stay straight on Barnestown Road. Camden Snow Bowl is on your left just after the Y-intersection.

Eaton Mountain:

Eaton Mountain Ski Area is located on Lambert Road (not Eaton Mountain Road), just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan. 
 
!!! If you use a GPS: set it for "Eaton Mountain Ski Area". With some systems, using only "Eaton Mountain" will take you on a private jeep trail to the summit of Eaton Mountain. Also: contrary to several systems, Lambert Road is not open to vehicle traffic between Oak Pond Road and the ski area!!!

From Skowhegan: Take Route 2 east, continue past the blinking light (Eaton Mountain Road). Lambert Road is the next right.

From Waterville: Take Route 201 north to Hinckley, right on to Route 23 north to Canaan. Left on to Route 2 west. Go past Lake George, left on to Lambert Road.

From I-95: Exit 133 (Route 201/Fairfield). Follow Waterville directions.


 Four Seasons Trails-Madawaska:

From Main St. in Madawaska go up Legion St.

Go left on St Thomas St.

Go right on 7th Ave ( 3rd right)

Go .6 miles and then left on Spring St. (near the top of the hill)

Go .2 miles and Four Seasons Lodge is on the right.


Hermon Mountain:

From I-95

  • Take I-95 Exit 130 (Waterville - Main Street) 
  • Turn south onto Main Street, toward downtown Waterville, for 0.6 mi
  • Turn right onto Eustis Parkway for 0.6 mi

  • Head north on Main Street

  • Follow College Avenue to Oak Street, across from the rail yard

  • Follow Kennedy Memorial Drive (Route 137 / 11) to Washington Street

Libby Hill:

Directions to the Trail Head (50 Libby Hill Road, Gray, Maine)
Libby Hill Trails start behind the Gray New Gloucester Middle School.  The Middle School is located on Libby Hill Road.  To find the school, proceed to Gray Maine (Exit 63 Maine Turnpike).  In the center of town take Route 26 north for approximately 1.4 miles or alternatively take the new bypass (26A).  You will approach a left turning lane onto Libby Hill Road, take this left and proceed until the paved road ends at the GNG Middle School.  Park on the right in a gravel lot just before the paved road ends.  A welcome kiosk with maps and info is located here. Do Not proceed up gravel road and don’t use the ATV trail which is at the left corner of the parking lot.

The trails begin on the school grounds on the other side of the chain link fences that surround the athletic fields.  Proceed to the trail head kiosk by walking around the driveway in back of the school or go around the front of the school and proceed through the gate of the fence to the Trail Head 1 kiosk.

Pineland Farms:

To the Welcome Center, from the Maine Turnpike:
  1. Take the Maine Turnpike to Exit 63 (formerly Exit 11) in Gray, Maine.
  2. Bear to the right after the toll booth, toward the center of Gray Village. Stay in the right lane. At the first intersection, go straight through the light onto Route 115.
  3. Continue on Route 115 (East) for 1.6 miles, then turn left onto Depot Road.
  4. Continue on Depot Road for 2.8 miles to a stop sign.
  5. Turn left at the stop sign onto Route 231/Intervale Road, then immediately left again onto Morse Road.
  6. Turn right into the Pineland Campus. The Welcome Center is the first building on the right, 15 Farm View Drive.

Saddleback Mountain:

From Points South
(Portland 2.5 hr, Portsmouth 3.5 hr, Boston 4.5 hr, Providence 5 hr)
Take I-95 (Maine Turnpike) to Exit 75 in Auburn. Take Route 4 North through Farmington to Rangeley. Then follow the signs to Saddleback. 

-or- 

Take I-95 to Exit 44 in Portland. Follow I-295 to the Gardiner toll. Merge on I-95 and proceed to Exit 112B in Augusta. Follow directions below from Augusta.

From Augusta 1.5 hr 
Take Route 27 North to US 2 West. In Farmington, take Route 4 North to Rangeley and follow the signs to Saddleback.

From Bangor 2.5 hr 
Take I-95 South to Exit 157. Take US 2 West to Skowhegan and Farmington, then follow Route 4 North to Rangeley. Then follow the signs to Saddleback.

Bethel, ME
Follow Rt. 2 East for 2.6 miles. Take a left onto Sunday River Road, marked by the large Sunday River Brewery (big building with red roof). Follow Sunday River Road to a fork with a "Sunday River Ski Resort" sign. Fork left and follow signs for the Grand Summit Hotel, base lodges, and amenities (1 mile). Fork right and follow signs for the Jordan Grand Resort Hotel (5 miles).

Portland Jetport / Portland, ME
Exit the Jetport and follow signs to I-95, the Main Turnpike. Take I-95 North to Exit 63 / Gray for Route 26. Take Route 26 North to Bethel. Refer to Bethel directions above.

Bangor, ME
Take I-95 South to Exit 157/ Newport for Route 2. Follow Route 2 West to Sunday River Road, marked by the large Sunday River Brewery (big building with red roof), a few miles before reaching Bethel. Follow directions above.
