Maranacook Girls and Boys win 2024 MVC Alpine

Thatcher Riley of MaranacookThe 2024 MVC Alpine Championships were held today at Black Mtn in Rumford. In the giant slalom competition, Jaden Boulanger of Mtn. Valley and Thatcher Riley of Maranacook are the 2025 MVC Giant Slalom Champions. Boulanger's combined time was 1:46.78 and Riley's combined time was 1:50.26. Breezy Quimby of Rangeley and Lily Boulanger of Mtn Valley rounded out the top 3 for the GS girls. Will Grant of Winthrop and Nate Gallant of Mtn Valley rounded out the top 3 for the GS boys. In the slalom competition, Breezy Quimby of Rangeley and Thatcher Riley of Maranacook are the 2024 MVC Slalom Champions. Quimby's combined time was 1:28.29 and Riley's combined time was 1:20.59. Phoebe Bell of Maranacook and Ashley Nelson of Spruce Mtn rounded out the top 3 for the SL girls. Tristin Riley of Maranacook and Jaxon August of Winthrop rounded out the top 3 for the SL boys.
