Alpine State Meet Course Setting

To all alpine coaches: The MPA Ski Committee has voted to allow for state championship courses to be set by the mountain course setter with assistance by up to two volunteer high school coaches.  These coach(es) will be selected by the TD for the event at least two weeks in advance of the event and will be selected from a volunteer list submitted to the MPA by the Alpine Ski Coaches Association liaison.  Therefore, any coach interested in being on this list must submit there name, via email to Ronn Gifford, current Alpine liaison, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., by December 31, 2018.  If you are submitting your name, please note any limitations you might have (for example, you are available to assist with the Class A meet, but not the B).  This list will then be submitted to the MPA for use by the TD's to select course setting assistants for the alpine events.  The selected coaches will be announced as early as possible ahead of the state meets, hopefully at least two weeks in advance.
