It is strongly suggested that all skiers train in the  summer, it will lead to better results next winter. To help motivate you to train line up some races in which to participate. Here is an event to add to your list: Molly Ockett Day Road Race in Bethel, Maine on July 21 at 9 AM. Molly Ockett Day features a road race for people of all ages, food, music, parade and others events of all kinds. Begin the day with a running race. Chose between a 5 mile which follows a route that is mostly flat with 1 hill climb. There is a 1 mile flat course for those who want a shorter event. Kids, up to the age of 14 can run in a 1 mile flat course. There is even a diaper dash for your younger siblings. Registration is $18 for the 5 mile race and $12 for the kids 1 mile race.
