Yarmouth Girls and Maranacook Boys Take Sassi Titles
Over 500 athletes competed in Super Sassi Saturday at Black Mtn with the junior sassi and high school sassi classical races. Sophia Laukli of Yarmouth posted the best time by one minute with a fast 14:25.7. Olivia Skillings of Maine Coast and Jenny Wilbraham of Morse were 2nd and 3rd respectively. Liam Niles of Portland was just three seconds ahead to take the win on the boys side. Nick Neveu of Maine Coast and Peter Jordan of Deering were 2nd and 3rd respectively.
