Due to the predicted cold temperatures and incoming snow for Thursday, the schedule for Thursday’s freestyle competition at Fort Kent for the MPA Class A/B/C Nordic Championships has been altered. The format will now be a 5K individual start with Class A B and C all together. Racers will start in the order of their finish from the classical race. Team scores will still be based on combined times as in a pursuit. The boys will start at 10:30am and the girls will start at 11:30am. This will allow teams to depart earlier and be in warmer conditions. The awards will be held in the Fort Kent high school gym for all three classes about one hour after results are posted. There will be space at the high school for teams to congregate and stay warm whiling waiting for results.
