Day 1 of the 2026 MPA Class C Nordic State Championships were held today at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center. It was the 5K individual classical race. In the girls race, Clara White of Orono is the 2026 Class C Classical state champion. She had a winning time of 17:08.0. The Class C runner-up was Addison Chasse of Fort Kent with a time of 21:21.9. In third place was Nyssa Wilkinson of Waynflete with a time of 22:03.6. In the boys classical race, Alden Reardon of Fort Kent is the 2026 MPA Class C Classical state champion. He had a winning time of 15:25.8. The Class C runner-up was Fionn Mattson of Maine Coast with a time of 17:03.8. In third place was Ben Chartier of Fort Fairfield with a time of 17:06.7. Day 2 of the MPA Class C Nordic state championships is on Tuesday with the 5K freestyle pursuit. The team scores will be based off of the pursit finish. RESULTS
