Mountain Valley High School and Mountain Valley Middle School will be holding it's first annual Mountain Valley Kombi Challenge on January 20th 2014. The Kombi will consist of one run giant slalom and one run slalom for each athlete on a team, the fastest combined times of the top four finishers of a team wins. Team scoring will be based on standard ski race scoring. The race will be scored as two events, middle school and high school, the middle school class will run first in each event. There will be a medal ceremony following the race to recognize the Kombi champions. The Chisholm Ski Club and Black Mountain of Maine will donate $3.00 from each race entry participating in the Kombi to Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation.
