Maine Coast girls and boys lead after day 1
The 2018 WMC Nordic Championships began Friday with the 5K classical race at Libby Hill. Sophia Laukli of Yarmouth and Nick Neveu of Maine Coast are the 2018 WMC Classical Champions. Olivia Skillings of Maine Coast and Lily Horne of Freeport completed the podium for the girls in 2nd and 3rd respectively. John Giddens of Freeport and Alfie Walker of Fryeburg were 2nd and 3rd respectively to complete the podium for the boys. The Maine Coast girls and the Maine Coast boys lead after day 1. The championships conclude on Saturday with the freestyle pursuit at Stark's Hill. RESULTS
