Volunteers are still needed for the 2017 Bill Koch Festival on March 4th and 5th.  The New England Bill Koch League Festival, will be hosted by The Bethel Outing Club at Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine during the weekend of March 4 and 5, 2017. The New England Bill Koch League Festival, also known as the NEBKL Festival is the marquee event of the New England Nordic Ski Association’s  (NENSA) Bill Koch Youth Ski League and attracts pre-school through eighth grade participants from across New England, the Northeast and Canadian provinces.  Click on Read More to see where help is needed.  If you are able to volunteer, go to http://bklfestival2017.com/volunteering .

Saturday, March 4th Needs
 
1) Parking monitors, Sat., 8am to 11am - you would be positioned along Church St., at CPS, at Telstar or at the Gem - need 6 people
 
2) Information Desk, Sat., 12:30 to 5pm - need 2 people
 
3) Silent Auction Sales, Sat. 9am to 12:30pm and 12:30-4pm- need 1 person for each slot
 
4) Tent/Grounds Monitor, Sat., 11:30 to 3pm - need 1 person
 
5) Start Line-up person, this would mean getting the skiers in the right order based off the start list, 12-2:30pm - need 1 person
 
6) Relay Tag Zone, you would watch to make sure the skiers tag off properly in the relay, Sat., 9:30-noon, need 2 people
 
7) Finish line timer/bib recorder, Sat., 9:30-noon and noon-2:30pm - need 1 person for each time slot
 
8) Course monitors - you would be positioned on course where there are intersections so that skiers go the right way, Sat., 9:30-noon-need 2 people

10) Sledding Hill/Terrain Park Monitor - be a presence on the upper field while kids are playing, Sat., 10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:30, 2:30-5pm-need 1 person
 
Sunday, March 5th Needs
