Freeport boys and Yarmouth girls win 2017 WMC Nordic Title
It was a double day of racing at the 2017 WMC Nordic Championships at Stark's Hill in Fryeburg with a classical race in the morning followed by a skate race in teh afternoon. Tucker Pierce of Maine Coast and Grace Cowles of Yarmouth are the 2017 WMC Classical Champions. Willson Moore of Waynflete and Bennett Hight of Freeport were 2nd and 3rd for the boys classical. Lily Horne of Freeport and Louise Ahearne of Maine Coast were 2nd and 3rd for the girls classical. In the skate race, Willson Moore of Waynflete and Grace Cowles of Yarmouth won the 2017 WMC Skate title. Tucker Pierce of Maine Coast and John Lane of Yarmouth were 2nd and 3rd in the boys skate race. Lily Horne of Freeport and Louise Ahearne were 2nd and 3rd again in the skate race. The Freeport boys and the Yarmouth girls are the 2017 WMC Nordic Team Champions. RESULTS
