RACE IS CANCELLED DUE TO CONFLICT WITH KVACS
The Sweetheart Relay is back at Spruce Mountain Ski Area. The date for this 3 kilometer skate race is February 14 at 3:30. It is very fast with small hills. A great training day to get the leg speed up for the state meet. The format we used two years ago is what we will use again this year. Coaches will list all athletes who will be competing and the computer will generate the teams randomly. This is a great way for your athletes to get to know athletes from other teams. The format is 2 girls and 2 boys per team with the girls scrambling. All athletes will get a time, a valentine lolli-pop, and the top 3 teams will get a small box of chocolates. This year we would encourage Valentine costumes. There will be a prize for the best female and best male costume. The cost of this race is $5.00 per racer.
