1/20 Update: The start lists are now posted for the Maranacook Waves: BOYS START LIST | GIRLS START LIST
The course is perfect for the Maranacook Wave Race as of Wednesday night. Given the warm weather on Friday and Saturday though, we have decided to move up the start of the race to 11:00 am for boys and 12:30 pm for girls, with registration from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. We know that this means you will need to change your departure time, but hopefully with a couple of days notice that won't be too hard. We are committed to holding the highest quality race possible and think that by starting earlier the course will hold up better with colder temps during the races. We don't have many skimeisters registered for the alpine and nordic races at this time, but want to be sure they can still do both races it they want to. We have consulted with our alpine coach, Ronn Gifford, and he is confident that he can arrange the alpine start order to get those few skimeisters to Maranacook in time to race nordic as well.
