Due to the fact that there are only two classes of alpine skiers in the state versus the three classes we previously had, a number of coaches have discussed and agreed that we will be changing the rules for being eligible for the "Eastern High School Championship" qualifier. In years past the athletes were eligible to attend the qualifier if they came in the top 10 in either discipline at their respective state meet. This year we are going to allow any athlete who comes in the top 15 in either discipline at their respective state meet. This, theoretically should keep the numbers of athletes going to the qualifier close to the same. If you have any questions please contact
