Freeport/Brunswick boys and Mt Blue Girls take lead
Day 1 of the MPA Class A Alpine Championships were held today at Saddleback Mtn with the giant slalom competition. On the boys side, Jett Lindelof of Isleboro is the 2023 Class A Giant Slalom State Champion. His winning combined time was 1:27.84. Porter Beaule of Falmouth/Waynflete was second with a combined time of 1:28.63. Ian Christie of Falmouth/Waynfete was third witn a combined time of 1:29.19. On the girls side, Taylor Gordon of Mt. Blue is the 2023 Class A Giant Slalom State Champion. Her winning combined time was 1:26.49. Hadley Prewitt of Marshwood was second with a combined time of 1:29.50. Bridget Jacobsen of Falmouth/Waynflete was third with a combined time of 1:30.08. The Freeport/Brunswick boys and the Mt Blue girls take the lead after day 1.
