The 2025 MVC Nordic Championships got underway today at Black Mtn with the mass start freestyle competition. In the boys race, Samuel Geissinger is the 2025 MVC Freestyle champion with a winning time of 15:21.1. In second place was Liam Waring of Orono with a time of 16:05.8. In third place was Sam St. Germain of Winthrop with a time of 16:38.7. In the girls race, Clara White of Orono is the 2025 MVC Freestyle champion with a winning time of 15:07.6. In second place was Harper Olmstead of Maranacook with a time of 19:20.7. In third place was Ella Akers of Telstar with a time of 19:56.5.
