Hadley Prewitt of Marshwood, 2024 Class A GS State Champion
Quinn Maguire of Marshwood, 2024 Class A GS State ChampionDay 1 of the 2024 MPA Class A Alpine State Championships were held today at Pleasant Mtn in Bridgton with the giant slalom competition. In the girls race, Hadley Prewitt of Marshwood is the 2024 Class A Giant Slalom State Champion. Her winning combined time was 1:25.66. Bridget Jacobsen of Falmouth was second with a time of 1:28.50. Riley Davis also of Falmouth was third with a time of 1:29.46. In the boys race, Quinn Maguire of Marshwood is the 2024 Class A Giant Slalom State Champion. His winning combined time was 1:22.41. Landon Marquis of Camden Hills was second with a time of 1:24.00. Ian Christie of Falmouth was third with a time of 1:24.40. In the team competition, the Falmouth girls and boys take the lead after day 1. Day 2 of the MPA Class A Alpine continues on Thursday with the slalom competiton.
