Ferland and Bell win Aroostook 5K Freestyle

The Aroostook league held its second Nordic race of the season on Tuesday at the Four Seasons Trails in Madawaska with a 5K freestyle.  George Ferland of Caribou won the race with a time of 15:44.  Alden Reardon of Fort Kent was second and his teammate Fletcher Marquis was third.  In the girls race, Kayley Bell of Caribou won the race with a time of 17:54.4.  Ainsley Migneault of Madwaska was second and Annabelle Reardon of Fort Kent was third.  RESULTS

The 2022-2023 high school ski season has officially begun!  The KVAC, MVC, Aroostook, SMAA Alpine, and WMC Nordic and Alpine race schedules for the season are now all posted.  Go to the conference race schedule page to see all the schedules.  You can also see the entire race calendar HERE.

2023 MPA Ski State Meets

The schedule and locations for the 2023 MPA Alpine and Nordic Ski State Meets has been officially released.  The 2023 Class A Alpine state meet will be Feb. 15-16 at Saddleback Mtn.  The 2023 Class B Alpine state meet will be Feb. 20-21 at Lonesome Pines in Fort Kent and at Big Rock in Mars Hill.  The 2023 Class A, B, and C Nordic state meet will be Feb. 22-23 at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center.  CLICK HERE for the MPA State Meet event page with details.

Maine U16.EHSC Nordic Team Coach Applications

Applications are now avaible to be a part of the coaching staff for the 2023 U16 and EHSC Maine Nordic Teams.  Positions availalbe are: U16 Trip Leader, EHSC Trip Leader, U16 Assistant Trip Leader, EHSC Assistant Trip Leader, and all U16/EHSC Maine Nordic coaching staff.  All applications can be found HERE.
