Greely girls and Freeport boys win Class B Nordic Title
Greely Girls: 2024 Class B State Champions
Freeport Boys: 2024 Class B State ChampionsDay 2 of the 2024 MPA Class B Nordic State Championships were held today at Titcomb Mtn in Farmington with the 5K freestyle pursuit competition. In the girls freestyle, Sylvia Harvey of Greely is the 2024 Class B Freestyle State Champion. Her winning time was 15:47.8. Sylvia also won the classical on Monday. In second place was Elsa Bergdahl of Maranacook with a time of 15:48.2. In third place was Rowan Barry of Greely with a time of 16:17.6. In the boys freestyle, Teo Steverlynck-Horne of Freeport is the 2024 Class B Freestyle State Champion. His winning time was 12:30.7. Teo also won the classical on Monday. In second place was Owen Dawson of Freeport with a time of 12:56.8. In third place was Wyatt Stevenson of Maranacook with a time of 13:09.2. The Greely girls and the Freeport Boys are the 2024 Class B Nordic State Champions. The Yarmouth girls and boys were runners-up. Also congratulations to the Leavitt girls and boys for receiving the MPA Nordic Sportsmanship Award. RESULTS
