2024 Maine Mens EHSC Alpine Team2024 Maine Womens EHSC Alpine TeamFebruary 18: Brooke Boone of Yarmouth High School will lead a strong Maine Women's Alpine Team when they compete in the 2024 Eastern High School Championships at Attitash Mountain from March 7-10. In the qualifier, skiers qualify for the state team based on the best of 2 runs in the Giant Slalom and Slalom. The top 12 skiers on the day were named to the Maine team.
Boone's best runs at Black Mountain were #1 in both races, giving her a score of 2. Bridget Jacobsen of Falmouth HS had the third best times in each discipline, giving her 6 points. Riley Davis scored 4 points in the GS and 2 points in the slalom for 6 points. Also named to the team were Bree Quimby of Rangeley (10 points), Tia Spenlinhauer of York (10 points), Jaden Boulanger of Mountain Valley (13 points), Katie Yeaton of Mt. Blue (14 points), Ella Morse of Falmouth (15 points), Lily Boulanger of Mountain Valley (18 points), Rosie St. Cyr of Freeport (20 points), Phoebe Bell of Maranacook (21 points), and Logan MacLeod of Yarmouth (25 points).
In the men's competition, Logan Schwartz of Cape Elizabeth led the boys team with top finishes in both the slalom and giant slalom for 2 points. Second highest scorer was Kaden Theriault of Fort Kent with 4 points. Keegan Lathrop of Cape Elizabeth with 5 points.
Other skiers who will be representing Maine will be Landon Marquis of Camden Hills (6 points), Quinn Maguire of Marshwood (8 points), Evan O'Donnell of Edward Little (8 points), Ian Christie of Falmouth (11 points), Thatcher Riley of Maranacook (13 points), Cooper Dodge of York (13 points), Joshua Schupbach of Fort Fairfield (15 points), Reis Stamaris of Cheverus (20 points), Kaden Salsbury of Skowhegan (20 points).  RVG PHOTO GALLERY
