Farmington--Day 1 of the MPA Class B Nordic State Championships was held today at Titcomb Mtn with the classical competition. In the girls 
classical, Madeline Marston of Yarmouth is the 2020 Class B Classical State Champion. Her winning time was 17:43. Kayley Bell of Caribou was second and Anne Bergeron of Yarmouth was third. In the boys classical, Carter McPhedran of Maranacook is the 2020 Class B Classical State Champion. His winning time was 14:23. Caleb Hunter of Freeport was second and George Ferland of Caribou was third. The Yarmouth girls and the Freeport boys take the lead after day 1. Day 2 is Tuesday with the freestyle pursuit.
