Schwartz and Boulanger win 2023 MPA Class B Slalom

Day 1 of the MPA Class B Alpine Championships were held today at Lonesome Pines in Fort Kent with the slalom competition.  On the boys side, Logan Schwartz of Cape Elizabeth is the 2023 Class B Slalom State Champion.  His winning combined time was 1:08.37.  Thatcher Riley of Maranacook was second with a combined time of 1:10.89.  Max Bois of Fort Kent was third witn a combined time of 1:12.01.  On the girls side, Jaden Boulanger of Mtn Valley is the 2023 Class B  Slalom State Champion.  Her winning combined time was 1:20.52.  Her sister Lily Boulanger of Mtn Valley was second with a combined time of 1:21.59.  Breezy Quimby of Rangeley was third with a combined time of 1:21.85.  The Carrabec boys and the Fort Kent girls take the lead after day 1.  Day 2 is on Tuesday with the giant slalom at Big Rock.  RESULTS  |
