Description

Coaches Meetings Scheduled for October 18th

Coaches must register for the coaches meetings.  See below for the links.

Due to an abundance of caution, and state regulations regarding the Covid 19 situation we will be forced to have our Annual MSCA Fall Meeting via Zoom. It would be irresponsible to try an in-person meeting and we can accomplish what we need to do via Zoom.
Please send your annual dues ($20 if your school has both Alpine and Nordic, $12 if they just have one discipline) to:

Sally Bean
268 Center Road
Madrid TWP, ME 04966
Please make the check payable to the Maine Ski Coaches Association. The MSCA has expenses that must be met (our amazing website, etc) and we have had some schools/coaches not paying their dues. Every coach whose dues are paid up will be allowed into the meetings.  The Zoom meeting link will be emailed only when the dues are paid.  Each school will get one vote per school in the general meeting, and one vote per school in the separate discipline meetings as always.
We will most likely have a general meeting at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 18th.  Coaches must register to attend the meeting.  CLICK HERE to register for the MSCA coaches meeting.
We will discuss issues in common with both disciplines including Covid-related issues. Please note at this time the USSA has cancelled the Eastern High School ALPINE Championships as well as all national level competitions. NENSA has a wide range of options that will determine what happens with the U16 and EHSC events. This will most likely be an "interesting" season and we will have to be flexible.
We will then have separate discipline meetings in breakout rooms to discuss schedules, and the upcoming season, etc. An agenda will be published shortly and emailed to all members. Please feel free to contact Buzz Bean at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with any questions.
