Boulder Nordic Sport East Maine Qualifier Race Waxing Service

Marc and Roger at BNS East will be offering a glide waxing service for the Maine Team Qualifying Race this coming Saturday March 4 th . We will do all the glide wax work (including a liquid topcoat if you have no support at the races) ahead of time for the event. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  New this year we are hoping to raise enough cash to pay for one athletes trip to either EHSC’s or U16’s. We will be accepting recommendations/details from coaches or parents on an athlete on their team that is likely to qualify and may not have the financial means to attend, or attending could put their family in hardship in any way. This is completely confidential between the coach/parent and BNS and the trip leader for that trip. The Wax Service details:
 Glide clean all skis

 Apply Graphite and hotbox for 4-6 hours
 Apply Paraffin of the day and hotbox for 3-4 hours
 IF the athlete has no coach helping on race day OR wants us to do it we will apply the
appropriate liquid topcoat.
 Skis will be picked up ready to scrape/brush off the paraffin of the day OR brush out the
liquid.
 Cost is $20 cash per pair to just do graphite, or $40 cash per pair to do the whole service
 Skis MUST be cleaned of all kick/klister. This is important because if the skis are sticky it
massively slows down the waxing process. $10 per charge to clean kick/klister, sorry!

Tell us athlete, glide service type and drop day please. 
 Latest drop off is Thursday at Noon. If you have rock skis to ski on this week, please
bring your race skis by earlier to prevent time crunch.
