Freeport boys and Freeport girls win 2023 Class B Nordic Title
Day 2 of the 2023 MPA Class B Nordic Championships were held today at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center with the freestyle pursuit competition under sunny and very cold skies. In the boys freestyle, Logan Ouellette of Leavitt is the 2023 Class B Freestyle State Champion. His winning time was 14:28.6. Teo Steverlynck-Horne of Freeport was second with a time of 14:56.3. Henry Horne of Freeport was third with a time of 15:12.6. In the girls freestyle, Kayley Bell of Caribou is the 2023 Class B Freestyle State Champion. Her winning time was 17:01.8. Reed Proscia of Freeport was second with a time of 18:40.2. Laurel Wight of Freeport was third with a time of 19:13.8. In the pursuit, both Logan Ouellette and Kayley Bell are the 2023 MPA Class B Pursuit Champions. The Freeport boys and the Freeport girls are the 2023 MPA Class B Nordic state champions. The Yarmouth boys and the Leavitt girls are runners-up. Also congratulations to the Leavitt boys and to the Freeport girls for recieving the MPA Sportsmanship Award. RESULTS
