Mt Blue boys and girls win Class A Nordic
Day 2 of the 2023 MPA Class A Nordic Championships were held today at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center with the freestyle pursuit competition under sunny and very cold skies. In the boys freestyle, Henri McCourt of Mt. Blue is the 2023 Class A Freestyle State Champion. His winning time was 14:33.3. Orrin Slover of Edward Little was second with a time of 15:20.7. Isaac Seeker of Falmouth was third with a time of 15:22.8. In the girls freestyle, Annabelle Brooks of Cheverus is the 2023 Class A Freestyle State Champion. Her winning time was 17:24.1. Nora McCourt of Mt Blue was second with a time of 17:29.8. Bridget Reusch of Mt Blue was third with a time of 17:47.4. In the pursuit, both Henri McCourt and Annabelle Brooks are the 2023 MPA Class A Pursuit champions. The Mt. Blue boys and the Mt. Blue girls are the 2023 MPA Class A Nordic state champions. The Greely boys and girls are runners-up. Also congratulations to Oxford Hills for receiving the MPA Sportsmanship award. RESULTS
