Fast Times at the 2019 Hornet Classic

(Boys results updated 1/13) It was cold and sunny but the snow was firm and fast at the 2019 Leavitt Hornet Classic.  Luke Bartol of Maranacook was the top finisher for the boys.  His fast time was 13:18.6.  Roy Varney of Leavitt clocked in a 13:39.8 for second place and Gabe Fein of Maranacook was third with a time of 13:55.9.   Maranacook was the top boys team and Mt. Blue was second.  On the girls side, Emma Charles of Mt. Blue was the fastest girl and cruised to a16:01.1.  Lilo Bean of Gould Academy was second with a time of 16:24.0 and Gwinna Remillard of Central Maine Ski Club clocked in a 16:47.9 for third place.  The Gould Academy girls placed first and Portland Nordic girls were second.   DW ACTION PHOTOS  |    COMPLETE RESULTS
